There is Power in the Numbers |
| Committee Members |
With all the problems facing Spring Mill and the paper industry today, this committee would like to insure all Local 422 members that we are fighting for their best interests everyday. We understand it is a trying time, but will insure that the labor agreement is followed in these tough times also. If you are grieved in anyway, please talk to your steward to get a resolution started that will remedy the situation. Union meetings are held third Tuesday of the month. Please attend, United We Bargain....Divided We Beg Visit this link to see who the company has hired to interpret the contract. United Steelworkers of America is the largest union in North America. This will give us greater lobbying power in D.C. and with every company we must bargain with. Corporate America can't push this union around no more. Just a reminder that OSHA is there to help and protect us as workers. Our Contract Expires on 17th November, 2007. We must have solidarity to maintain our benefits. A No vote on a contract is not a Yes vote on a strike (This is on a contract vote) A No vote on a strike is a Yes vote for the contract (This is on a strike vote) Rapid Response is becoming a hot topic and we need to do our part to keep the legislatures voting with unionized labor in mind. Please Help, aid in this site. If There is news that you would like to see here please E-mail me with ideas. Please register to vote. It gives us all more say in in how the Government votes. |
